Happy New Year!

I spent the last week or so at the cottage, hitting the slopes, relaxing, and playing some pool. Between these activities and driving to and from Toronto to Ottawa, I got a chance to listen to a lot of the music that had me going this past year. I’d rather not get into any intricate rating schemes and countdowns, so instead I present some of the tracks that I either inspired me, or were at least in heavy rotation in 2007:

I’ll post my picks for favorite / noteworthy albums for 2007 shortly. As well, I may create a podcast or mix in the days to come of some of these tracks. I’ve split the list into two halves, “AM” and “PM”, the former being a bit more laid back, recalling relaxing times at the cottage, and the latter being a bit more upbeat, perhaps the soundtrack to the hours spent coding or highway driving (or, while snowboarding last week).
