NXNE took over the city these past few nights. The North by Northeast Music and Film Festival ran from June 12-15 in Toronto, boasting the title of Canada’s #1 festival for new music. 500 bands, 50 venues, 25 films.

SXSW muxtapes
A few weeks ago I downloaded a promotional torrent of tracks by SXSW 2008 showcase artists. The torrent contained one track by approximately 750 artists.
